I have recently been contacted by a company BT Customer Street who claim they can direct massive amounts of traffic to your website and get you listed in Goolge on page one. Firstly this is an over exaggerated claim and most of the webmaster forums will tell you to steer clear of so called guru’s who can guarantee you a page one. After a short, polite conversation, I dug a little deeper with a few probing questions to which the sales person became a little defensive and towards the end quite aggresive in his sales pitch. Not to mention the insults I received for my own SEO marketing strategy which is taken care of in house.

The cost of this BT Customer Street service was a one off fee of £399.95 plus a mothly fee of £90 or there abouts. Well that’s the price they quoted me and on a little surfing it seems there are a miriad of prices.

This cold call was a great lesson in itself on how not to promote your business.

Here are a few posts from a variety of pages, one from BT Complaints

http://www.btcomplaint.com/2009/01/bt-customerstreet.html

and one from Martin Lewis Money Saving Expert

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1081011

Both provide for interesting reading.

It was announced at the Kleeneze Christmas Showcase, a £250,000 tv advertising campaign is to commence on the 21st September, running for 1 month. Whilst this advert is a cracking ad and will definately create brand awareness, using the advert for your own promotions in not a very good idea, well not unless you want to build some SED’s business and not your own. All leads generated through this advert will go to Kleeneze and then is divvied up between SED’s and above. (Correct me if I am wrong). The advert has Kleeneze’s own text number embedded into the clip itself and intereseted parties wanting to know more about Kleeneze will be texting this number and not your own, that is if you decide to use this medium. Although this being a slightly unfair system, I can appreciate why it is being done, Kleeneze I guess, want to make sure that these red hot leads will be taken care of by experienced distributors.

My advice to our team is to capitalise on the TV campaign itself not focusing on the ad but using your own leaflets, flyers, car cards, etc with the Kleeneze logo linking to your own website and ezereach number. The Bids Webshop have rustled up some great fliers for this very purpose.

Citypress, a Manchester PR company takes over the reins of managing Kleeneze’s public relations in its media relations and online communications. The main task of Citypress will be to raise awareness of the Kleeneze solution (not that it needs it), to potential new distributors, helping to promote Kleeneze as a positive earning opportunity to people looking for extra income, to become their own boss or to replace a full-time job at a time when opportunities are in short supply.

Managing director of Kleeneze, Jamie Stewart said “Citypress has an excellent track record in delivering successful recruitment campaigns and their team provided great insights that will help improve how we position our offer to new recruits. They will also help us to better harness the power of our network and new media to get this message across.”

With a workforce weary of the recession Kleeneze provides a simple but effective way of taking control of your financial future thus in effect building a business from home providing your local neighbourhood with a valuable home shopping service and through this service you gain much more than just money. Customer loyalty, friendships, business function invites are a few of the non advertised benefits we personally have gained over the few years we have been promoting the Kleeneze brand.

Intrigued? Stop by www.KleenezeWales.com for a free information pack to join the UK’s leading MLM business.

Not that Kleeneze needs any inspiration, in the short space of time we have been with this company we have witnessed some monumental changes in the way the business is operated. With Findel at the helm, Kleeneze has come on in leaps and bounds and is sometimes hard to keep up.

Promoting your kleeneze business is the key to building a successful business and whilst we are privy to some amazing promotional tools it is worth a little extra expense to go a step further. The old adage of been there, seen that, done that, read the book and got the T shirt has gone one step further. In weather like we are having a hoodie comes in very useful. I have in the past purchased garments over the Internet on the do it yourself websites, namely Cafe Press. On receipt of the garment I was a little disappointed at the quality of the cloth itself not holding shape after a few washes as well as the “print job” being a little faded. Undeterred, we found a local business offering a similar service, reinspired.co.uk. A Cardiff based company that not only gave excellent customer service in friendliness but pretty much bent over backwards in completing our order in the time frame we had. The garment itself is of very high quality and the printing, well all I can say is you need sunglasses, its so bright.

The order taken over the phone, clarified in email was replied back very promptly with the order proof in jpeg for approval. First class.
